Bosnia and Herzegovina seems a country torn between traumatic remembrance and the hopes of new horizons. Economically stagnant despite a surge in international investment and an EU candidacy, it is trying to move beyond its shattered past, like a truck stuck in mud and towed in separate directions at the same time. Living out a drawn-out present, a leisurely throwaway phrase resounds: "Može može... yeah yeah sure go on."
